Chief Executive Officer
Keith Valory is CEO of Plex, the largest independent video on demand and streaming media platform, with hundreds of live TV channels and thousands of on-demand movies and TV episodes, available globally in 193 countries. Keith has nearly two decades of experience in executive and founding member positions spanning several industries. Prior to Plex, Keith was COO of Bracket Computing (acquired by VMware) where he was responsible for corporate strategy and all business operations, including finance, business development, legal, operations, human resources, and information technology. Previously Keith spent five years at Cisco in various executive positions including running strategy and operations for the $2B Security Group, where he was responsible for business acquisition planning and execution, go-to-market planning and strategy, program management, business operations, and acquisition integration. Keith was the Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel at IronPort Systems, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco for $830M in 2007. Keith started his technology career as an associate at Venture Law Group where he represented technology companies on venture financing, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, licensing transactions and regulatory compliance.
Chief Product Officer & Co-founder
Scott Olechowski is responsible for driving product strategy, product management and business development for Plex’s suite of personal media software and services.
Over the past 15 years, Scott has applied his entrepreneurial know-how and spirit to a number of software and internet start-ups. His professional experience includes executive positions in product strategy, business development, marketing and international sales for a number of established brands such as Cisco, PostX and IronPort. He is an expert in cryptography, with 6 issued encryption and authentication patents, and was a technical and thought leader in Cisco’s global threat intelligence operations. Fresh out of college, he co-founded a video software company that pioneered the synchronisation of video testimony and official transcripts, which dramatically improved conviction rates for trial lawyers.
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Elan Feingold has been involved with the creation of innovative technology for over a decade. As Vice President of Technology of MusicStream, he led the creation of a sophisticated internet music platform that integrated music and social networking. Prior to that, Elan managed a team at Aravox Technologies responsible for developing software for a proprietary VoIP firewall platform and later assisted in the transfer of technology after Aravox was purchased by Alcatel. Before Aravox, Elan worked as Director of Engineering at AetherWorks, creating a groundbreaking VoIP platform that unified ATM, ISDN and other telephony protocols. Additionally, he was responsible for the design and creation of a cross-platform universal messaging client.
Chief Revenue Officer
Harold Morgenstern is responsible for developing, building, executing and overseeing all revenue generation across Plex’s global AVOD platform and its suite of personal media software and services. Prior to Plex, Harold was the Senior Vice President, Head of National Advertising Sales for Pluto TV and an active member of their leadership team, which led to Pluto’s acquisition by ViacomCBS. He also served as SVP of Digital and Linear Ad Sales for Discovery Communications where he played an integral role in the development of Discovery’s OTT and SVOD ad sales strategy and execution. While at Discovery, Harold earned an Interactive Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for Multiplatform Storytelling.
Throughout his media career, Harold has built a strong reputation for his sales leadership across both large corporate media entities and entrepreneurial digital start-ups with his outstanding performance, in addition to mentoring every member of his team and providing the foundation and opportunity for success.
Chief Financial Officer
Lindsay Jespersen joined Plex in August 2021 to lead the company’s finance, accounting and strategic planning functions through its next phase of growth. Lindsay has nearly 20 years of experience in strategic and operational finance roles at major media companies and has held leadership roles at Bloomberg Television, ViacomCBS and GE.
She previously served as Vice President Finance for Comcast NBCUniversal’s Global Distribution & International segment where she supported the segment Chairman and oversaw FP&A and strategic planning for the film and television distribution business. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Finance & Strategy at the Walt Disney Company where she led a global team responsible for the financial operations of ABC News.
Vice President of People
Christa Foley is responsible for safeguarding Plex’s culture and values as the company grows, bringing in top talent who align with Plex’s values and ensuring all HR processes are people-first. Prior to joining Plex, Christa spent 16 years at Zappos.com and was the Senior Director of Brand Vision & Culture as well as Head of Talent Acquisition. There she was a key part of developing the company’s core values and creating their core value interview assessment. She also led Zappos Insights, a B2B business under the Zappos umbrella, which shared the Zappos approach to company culture, customer service and people/HR with other organisations. Before Zappos, she spent 8 years in the staffing industry working with Olsten Staffing, Adecco and The Eastridge Group.
Vice President of Marketing
Scott Hancock is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and plans, and managing all marketing functions, including advertising, influencer and media relations, and events and creative services. Prior to joining Plex, Scott was the Director of Worldwide Channel Marketing at Hewlett-Packard Company. He also served as the Director of Marketing Communications at Palm Inc. until it was acquired by HP. Previously, he held account management positions at advertising and marketing agencies AKQA, the Beeline Group and Goldberg Moser O’Neill.
Vice President of Strategic Alliances
Shawn Eldridge is responsible for building strategies, forming alliances and managing product distribution with partners. Prior to joining Plex, Shawn was Vice President of Products, Business Development and Marketing at DeepNines Technologies, where he was responsible for managing worldwide strategic development, marketing and product management, public relations, and business development. Shawn also held management positions in business development, products and strategy at BorderWare Technologies, IronPort (a Cisco Systems business unit) and PostX Corporation.
Vice President of Finance & Corporate Controller
Dean Mayer is responsible for leading accounting, finance, legal and other administrative functions for the company. Over the past 30 years, he has held executive positions at a variety of technology start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Plex, Dean was CFO at Alpine Data Labs, a data analytics software start-up based in San Francisco. He previously served as Director of Finance at ParAccel, a database analytics start-up, and PostX, a secure email start-up. Prior to these positions, Dean served as Director of Global Risk Management Solutions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and held a number of key management positions at Lockheed Martin Corporation, the latest as Regional Audit Manager.
