Flexible Fridays!

The one rule? No meetings. Period. Instead, it’s dedicated free time to catch up on day-to-day work you couldn’t get to because, well, meetings. Or, work on projects for one of our “let’s make this place more awesome” teams. You can work on a fun project you’ve been wanting to explore or a pet project you haven’t found time for. Or you can take a class, listen to a podcast, read a book, and work on YOU and your growth. Watch a show on Plex and do some QA work or connect with fellow Plexians. And so forth!

Plex Perks - Annual Off-sites

Fun Travel to Amazing Places!

While we’re a remote workforce, we still believe face-time is invaluable. Because of this, we get together at least twice a year for annual offsites.

  • Plexcon
    • Once a year we choose an exciting destination and bring the team together for an unforgettable week of growth, goal setting, and connection. 
  • Minicon
    • Approximately 6 months before every annual Plexcon, we do regional meetups around the globe for a week of work and fun.
  • Tinycon
    • Each calendar year, employees may spend up to $1000 on Tinycons. A minimum of 2 Plexians arrange a meetup anywhere in the world. If they include a charity component to the work and fun, the allowance increases to $1500/year.

  • We donate collectively 1% of our revenues to global charities, selected by our employees and each employee has a $700 annual allotment to be donated to charities or organizations in a community of their choice.

  • Up to 16 weeks maternity leave/birthing parent leave plus 4 weeks part-time hours at full pay in a step-in program afterwards which allows returning members to ease back into their job.
  • Up to 6 weeks parental leave (non-birthing parents) which includes surrogacy and adoption.

  • 4 weeks for the loss of a loved one.

This link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
